Dr Varayini Yoganathan is a Specialist Endodontist and founder at Australian Endodontic Specialists in Norwest. Her work focuses on helping patients with complex dental problems while giving their natural teeth the best possible chance of being preserved.

For Dr Yoganathan, good care starts with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain their options clearly and find a treatment approach that gives their natural tooth every possible chance of being saved.

Her path into endodontics began at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She then gained clinical experience at Westmead Hospital in Sydney, including complex root canal treatment, before returning to Otago to complete her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics.

Today, Dr Varayini Yoganathan combines her specialist training with advanced imaging and microscopic techniques to provide precise, considered care. She remains closely involved in dental education, mentoring dentists in private practice and at university. Her passion for endodontics extends to lectures, workshops and hands-on training across Sydney, helping raise the standard of care.

As the founder of Australian Endodontic Specialists, she works closely with referring dentists and other dental specialists. For patients, that means having a specialist who takes the time to explain their options, answer their questions and guide them through treatment with care.
